Safety Management System

Our performance-based approach to safety offers improvements as it focuses on achieving the desired outcome rather than concentrating solely on whether the organisation is compliant. Safety management seeks to proactively mitigate safety risks before they result in aviation accidents and incidents. Through the implementation of safety management, organisations can manage their safety activities in a more disciplined, integrative and focused manner.

Safety Assessment

We offer safety assurance activities including audits, observations and developing and monitoring of Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs).

It can help to expose organisational drift and activities that are practically drifting. We will analyse the safety information to find out why this is happening and help mitigate the safety risks. This includes monitoring operational processes to detect changes or deviations that may introduce emerging safety risks or the degradation of existing safety risk controls.

Integrated Risk Management

Our team provides an integrated risk management solution for overall risk reduction in the functional systems of the organisation. This is achieved through the quantitative and qualitative analysis of both the inherent risks and the effectiveness and impact of risk management processes. Detailed risk assessments will be conducted with recommended controls to effectively mitigate any risks detected.

Change Management

We identify hazards related to the change and carry out a safety risk assessment and determine hazards directly related to the change and possible new risks that may be introduced to the system.

The impact on existing hazards and safety risk controls that may be affected by the change will also be reviewed. The result will be a detailed action plan with timelines and assistance for effective completion of the plan.

Safety Investigation

NAAC offers in-depth safety investigation on occurrences and hazards considered to have a high-risk potential on operations and the organisation. Our team uses a structured decision-making approach with defined trigger points to investigate an occurrence.

The outcome of the investigation includes identifying contributing human, technical and organizational factors; identifying hazards and conducting risk assessments; recommendations to reduce or eliminate unacceptable risks; and lessons learned from the event.
